| Our policy on previewing the whole product. It's so easy to "steal" Growing Up Catholic because it's electronic. It makes us nervous because our price is already so darn low. But we've decided to trust you as a parish leader or pastor and we will gladly send you the whole product on CD and allow you to take your time to look through it and decide what you wish to do. | How we kept the cost so low. Growing Up Catholic is a reproducible resource. We think most people spend too much money on Sacrament Prep books. If the children write in them and "consume" them, they may never look at them again after the Sacraments. If they don't write in them, then goodness sakes! How can that be good formation? We're talking here about eight, nine, and ten year old children, for Pete's sake! They need to "own" their materials! We created a full color resource which is delivered electronically. It's absolutely gorgeous. Kids and parents just love it! But it also prints beautifully in black and white and our design team built that into the scheme. You print what you need and you ALWAYS send it home. You never need them to bring it back the following session. It becomes their own - and we hope parents will treasure it. So the cost is only $3.14 per child for Reconciliation and Eucharist, and only $1.94 for Confirmation. Even when you take into account your copying costs, it's still far below the current norm. |
