| Here's what parents have said about Growing Up Catholic: I love the website! It's given me access to everything I need for my child. I wish I had had this for my older children. No one told us forming our own kids was this important. I really prefer this over having someone else teach my child about faith. You're kidding! I hope you have more of this for my child as she grows up. This is wonderful! Do you have a program like this on the Bible? Thank you for helping me with my child. |

| Here's what we know. Most adult Catholics today are active in their faith because they had the model of their own parents. It's not because they had a good textbook. Or even because they had a great catechist. (Of course, there are exceptions to this, and even parents who took great care to have God-talk in their home do have adult children who don't practice their faith. But the odds are still with the parents!) So why not coach the parents and help them for their own children. (Parents want this.) Train the catechist or teacher to be a coach and your results will be stunning! It turns out this is easy to do and very inexpensive. Growing up Catholic doesn't begin and end with getting ready for the first Confession or first Communion. It has to last a lifetime! The only way that can happen is if the parents are fully involved from baptism onward. |
